Mike was practically born with a lease agreement in one hand and a surfboard in the other. Growing up in Huntington Beach, he inherited his real estate instincts from his mother, who ran corporate real estate departments for some of Southern California's largest retailers. When he wasn't traveling or surfing in his early years, Mike was waiting tables at the family restaurant.
After earning his Environmental Science degree from Cal State Long Beach, Mike's adventurous spirit led him through diverse experiences—first working at a local surf summer camp, then serving as a recreation technician with the US Forest Service. He wielded power tools and tent camped in Big Sur's remote wilderness with Americorps during his stint with the American Conservation Experience and later became a scientist for an environmental consulting firm.
But retail real estate kept calling his name. Mike earned his California Real Estate license and dove into commercial brokerage with a Texas-based firm, representing national clients like Wendy's, Taco Bell, and Kiddie Academy. In early 2025, during an unforgettable dream, Mike encountered a leprechaun who made a compelling case for joining the sound lads at Irish Commercial Brokerage.
Mike brings to Irish Commercial Brokerage his inherited retail real estate instincts, diverse field experience, and genuine passion for helping businesses find their next great location. Between deals, you might find him picking a riff on his guitar or exploring the backcountry and remote surf spots in his adventure van.
